Ari H is an award winning professional model painter working out of Charlottesville, VA. She has been working in this field since 2015, and is currently focused on display-level freelance commission work. She also enjoys sculpting, drawing, and 2d painting. She runs Glorfindax Painting Service part time, and can often be found at The End Games painting, streaming, or teaching classes.
I am Ari, an art student and entrepreneur out of Charlottesville, VA. I’ve been painting models since 2015, and I’ve been running Glorfindax Painting Service since the start of 2019. I specialize in model painting, but have expanded into sculpting over the past couple years and more recently tattoo design. This year, my project is focused on creating fantastical, unnerving likenesses to the human form. I play with texture, proportion, and scale to create an interesting visual experience where there’s always more details to find.

My work this year was dispersed among many mediums, themes, and ideas. But through all of them, the common denominator was my love for the creepy, the weird, and the unknown.
This is a piece I made for the Science and Art Show, to demonstrate my knowledge of a wide array of materials and techniques. The skin is squishy line real skin, and the gore feels wet.
These were a few of my favorite digital art pieces from this year. One is concept art, one color study, and one piece of fanart.
These hands I drew as an example for the Visual art class on how to create shading with ballpoint pens. I did each of them as fast as I could; about an hour total for all three.
