To make these, I used blue pen and a single alcohol marker. After drawing these faces, I used a wet brush to reactivate and move around the blue pigment.

Artist Statement

As a child, I was quite the artist and had my own little studio in my house. Any chance I could, I would be sitting in front of my easel or on the floor, bent over some microscopic beads, or ripping apart magazines for a collage. Art is something that I have carried with me and improved upon in my 17 years of life. My work as of late contains themes of surrealism, pop art, and contemporary art, and I’ve been working with gouache, acrylic and pen most recently and also collage.
