Looking at my photography, you would probably never believe it if I told you there was once a point in my life where I was terrified at just the sight of both (most) insects and spiders. My love for them all started back in the fall ~4 years ago. There were so many insects crawling along a fence that I really had no choice but to notice them. Seeing all the different kinds of insects I had never bothered paying attention to before really expanded my liking of nature. And then… I saw my first jumping spider. I had been starting to notice spiders before jumping spiders, but seeing the adorable, almost puppy-like faces… their super friendly and curious natures, and of course, their ability to jump really kicked off my curiosity of all spiders. And so insects, and spiders especially have been my favorites to photograph. As for my other photos, I was inspired by many sources: video games I played as a kid, posts I’ve seen online. There’s something so beautiful to me about an urbanesque area that has been abandoned and overrun by nature. And for astrophotography, while I haven’t had a lot of chances to get more of these photos, space and our universe has always been one of the most amazing things for me to learn about since I was little.
