Milo Haske is a 10th grade student of renaissance school. Born In California, then moved to Virginia for most of his life. He is currently in his third year of art in portfolio class. This is his third year of Renaissance school due to the 5-year plan. The mediums he works with most prominently are printmaking and 3d sculpture. There are three printmaking works on display and two 3d sculpture masks in the exhibition.

My work earlier in the year has mainly been focused on printmaking, expanding on my previous 3 years for the card printmaking I chose to do a more detailed print with “the magician”. The human body in the image is more complex to carve compared to the symbols present in the other prints like the playing cards and the brain. The masks have a base of full paper face masks with paper mache placed on, and acrylic paint used to paint the masks. The violin is made from a real template of a violin then cut out with cardboard, then newsprint glued on.
