Alex Zimring
Alex Zimring, a current sophomore at Renaissance School in Charlottesville, Va enjoys character design and digital art. Alex is generally interested in story telling, and coming up with new ways a character might express themselves. Alex is excited to go to the RISD summer program this summer, and apply to art school when they’re older!
This year I wanted to focus on world building, character creation, and building basic skills in art. I didn’t have a specific plan going into it and because of that I was able to jump to whatever interested me in the moment. My drawing of a boy behind bars even spurred on a whole story idea. I’m eager to continue this summer and keep developing!
