My primary art medium is Sharpie. I like it because it fits the whimsical nature of my pieces. My pieces come across like doodles; they include a cast of characters that represent people in my life. I draw everyone in simple line art with an inanimate object for a head that I think fits their personality. For example, I, Saturn, have a saturn head, and my friend Maya is a sunflower. I often incorporate aspects of collage into my work, and I enjoy using watercolor pencils for the texture they create in the pieces.
