Shadows

Shadows often have a negative association surrounding them. Something imposing behind you or looming in front of you. But there’s more to it than that. A shadow on a building helps to draw our eyes to the bright parts, even though the “negative” darkness is still there, it still illuminates the positive. Shadows strip us, humans, down into a shape. Straightforward, not complicated and complex at all. And isn’t that funny that in the end we can all be seen as simple silhouettes? Nothing else matters other than the fact that we are just that, shadows, and from there we can be whatever we want. In the end, I hope we can all see each other as simply shadows, as simply human.
